Market Analysis
Typically, before deciding to invest a large amount of finances to develop a telecom network infrastructure it is important to analyze which geographic areas have the highest potential in regard to ROI. Through broad data analysis, we are able to calculate the profitability of a planned network in the assigned areas. This analysis is also connected to deciding on the right network architecture and roll-out strategy.
Master Plan
Once the outline of a network roll-out has been defined, including the network architecture and the geographic areas, it’s time to create a Master Plan. This focuses on defining how the new network will connect to the Backbone network, planning redundancies into the network in form of city-rings etc. The outputs of this phase can also include the first rough Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to help with the procurement of materials and manpower ahead of time and to serve as an orientational plan for more detailed planning to assure a smooth progress of the project.
High-Level Design
Based on the previously defined network architecture, material concept, homes and other points of interest to be connected, plus any additional GIS data provided by our customer, or a third party, we produce an efficient, high-quality plan of your network. We focus on cable-path optimization, POP (Point of Presence) and DP (Distribution Point) locations to minimize your CAPEX, while also considering your later expenses for network maintenance and other operational costs (OPEX). Our team of GIS experts, together with state-of-the-art software and in cooperation with our strong partners, we deliver highly optimized High-Level Designs including a more accurate bill of materials, Site-Survey Checklists and additional documentation according to your needs.
Permitting
Together with our strong cooperation partners and your assistance we can help with providing all the necessary documentation to submit permit applications to make sure that the previously designed network is built-proof. This service is regionally very different, which is why we choose to cooperate with our partners, making sure that we get the best possible results.
Detailed Design
Once all project stakeholders approve the High-Level Design (HLD) and we have the re-assurance of local authorities that the construction will get approved, we convert the HLD into a Detailed Design. This includes schemes for ducts and fiber, Splice Plans, a detailed Bill of Materials and Bill of Quantities including even the smallest elements of the network such as closures, or even duct labels, but also which trenching technology is to be used in which parts of the trenching. The outputs of a Detailed Design are all necessary plans which can be handed over to a construction company to be used to buld the network.
Construction
Even though Yungo does not offer construction services per se, we do offer other supporting services during this phase of a network roll-out. For one - every project includes some unforseeable risks that may result in the necessity of re-planning parts of the network during the build phase. We advice our customers on dealing with such potential design changes (/revisions). Moreover, we have developed a sophisticated process of As-Built Data Acquisition and highly automated As-Built Data Quality Checking. This way we make sure that your project is being implemented according to the plan, while respecting all necessary regulations and guidelines and is sufficiently documented for later network operation.
As-Built Documentation
We truly understand the importance of a high-quality As-Built Documentation and the key role it plays in the ntire life-cycle of a network. Over the years we developed automations which help us structure, organize and connect all the documented information about the new network in a holistic way. We create reports of missing and/or contradicting information to help our customers acquire the missing data. In the end we use the high-quality data consisting of, trench paths, actual fiber splices, OTDR-measurements, drilling protocols and many other files and put it together in a Network Inventory System of your liking.
Maintenance & Support
Once your network is up and running the work does not stop for Yungo. Besides monitoring your network, we document all updates and changes on it performed by your field personel (or robots of the future ;-) and store them safely and transparently in your own inventory system. This way we help you optimize your operation cost and reduce the down-time of your network.
